The Journey Of The Mind.

Introduction

For my ISP, The Journey Is The Mind, I have come up with a topic that regards to my life. I will tell people all about my life since childhood till now. I will also include those toys I played, books I read and the photo of me and my family.
How I came up with this idea of writing about my life for this ISP?
I am a guy whereby I will keep things to myself. I am thinking to doing “ My Life “ as a topic for my ISP to let people around me to know who am I and how I live through these years since childhood with the companion of my parents and my elder sister.

Starting of my life

I came to this world on 20th April 1991. With the care of my parents, I grew very healthly. At the age of 1, my family and I moved to Hougang, a 4-room flat. This is where I started my life whereby I still remembered.
Life in Kindergarden
My life was so great with a good parents and a caring sister. At the age of 4 I started my education in a kindergarden near my house. I remembered those days in kindergarden was very simple, we almost do the same things everyday. Every morning, my mother will wake me up and get me ready for classes. We will walk together to the kindergarden and she will be off to work. I studied for 2 years in kindergarden and proceed to primary school.

Days in primary school

The first day of school in primary school was so exciting. I got to see new classmates and those parents seeing their children off to school. Kids seen crying at the entrance of classroom doors, not wanting to let go their parents hands and seems scared to the new environment and new friends. I think I am different from those children, neither did I cry nor I held onto my mother’s hand tightly. I sat onto the small chair and infront of me is a table.

There are lots of encounters and also the changes in environment of my primary school. I remembered those days whereby I will sit together with my friends and have our lunch together. After school, I will always sit at the bench near the school gate to wait for my mother to fetch me home.
At the age of 12, I had my PSLE, primary school leaving examination. I know I was scared and nervous. But, I manage to pass with an acceptable point and continue my studies in a secondary school.

Secondary School

I was posted to Yio Chu Kang Secondary School.
Starting of the life in secondary school is like wad it is in primary school, except that it will be tougher in terms of the academic.
I had the first day of school with my mother tagging along with me. We have to queue to register my name and the class will be later on announced. We were asked to tour around the school to familiarise the surrounding and to know more about the school and the CCAs in this school.
I chose Band as my CCAs as I think it would be fun to learn to play an instrument and also to learn to read musical notes. I met lots of friendly friends in band and in school and having such friendly friends is my pleasure. We went through thick and thin, up and down together. Joining band is not a wrong choice, as I had great friends and I also learned lots of new things.


Throughout these years, the bonds between me and my friends got closer and stronger. We had great times and also bad times, but, after all we are still friends.
At the last year in my secondary life, I had the next big examination, the ‘O’ Levels. It was tough, but still, I went through it. Eventhough I did not get a very good grade, but fortunately I got into NAFA, Nanyang Academy of Fine Arts.

My Current Life in a Arts School

I entered NAFA with little knowledge of Design and all I really want is to get into the course I desired since young, a course related to animation. I had great friend here and friends that would really help you whenever you need help. I am now a year 1 student. I will strive for what I desired and persuade my studies to a further level.
